"Mind blowing" is hype. Especially at 20MW proposed capacity, for a plant not yet built.

CAES (compressed air energy storage) is already a thing, and this is an interesting variant.

    Maybe not mind-blowing, but it sounds like a cost-effective and reliable solution. And the 20MW is for a single plant, the proposal talks about multiple plants at the same site.

    No, it's certainly not the perfect end-all solution, but it seems to deserve being part of the mix.

    It is closed loop. No CO2 leaves the system.
